Yes. The service is not limited to people with a particular marital status. Participants may be navigating separation, divorce, loss, relocation, financial change, or another housing transition.

Can participants rent or purchase together?

Yes. Participants may be interested in renting, purchasing, offering space in an existing home, or remaining open to more than one option.

Do I need to know the other parent already?

No. Parent Housing Match reviews participating profiles to identify households whose housing goals and living preferences may align.

Will my information be shared automatically?

No. If a possible match is identified, you will be contacted before your identifying information is shared.

Am I required to accept a possible match?

No. Every introduction and next step is voluntary. Either participant may decline without moving forward.

Does joining guarantee that I will receive a match?

No. A successful match depends on location, budget, timing, housing needs, compatibility, mutual interest, and available housing.

Does a match guarantee rental or mortgage approval?

No. Landlords, property managers, lenders, condominium associations, homeowners associations, and other parties may have separate requirements that must be satisfied.

Does Parent Housing Match provide childcare?

What happens after two participants agree to meet?

The participants will have an opportunity to discuss finances, living arrangements, children’s schedules, privacy, guests, cleaning, pets, shared spaces, conflict resolution, and other household expectations before deciding whether to search for housing together.
